Going Online As Leaders -Training Programme In Partnership With Facebook

Tribal Affairs Ministry has launched the GOAL - Going Online As Leaders -
programme in partnership with Facebook. The GOAL programme is designed to
provide mentorship to tribal youth through digital mode in order to provide holistic
socio economic development of tribes.

Objective: To Empower tribal youth through mentorship, leadership training and
digital literacy skills to learn new ways of doing business, explore and connect with
domestic and international markets.

Target: The key is to identify, mobilise and connect 2500 renowned leaders from the
industry, who can personally mentor 5000 youth from tribal communities across the
country.

Course Curriculum: Total duration of the course is 9 months in which, 7 months is
for mentorship and 2 months is for the internship of the programme.
The following are the courses:
1. Public Speaking and confidence.
2. Entrepreneurship and Leadership
3. Readiness and training.
4. Digital Skills literacy.

Application: Online application is available at apssdc website and it is learnt that
the last date of submitting the application is 14th July’20.

Selection Process: Selection of the tribal youth will be for Mentors & Mentees
depending upon the skills required for the relevant field opted by the youth.
Also the Ministry of Tribal Affairs shall provide Smart phone with internet access for
a period of one year.

Certification: Mentors / Mentees who have completed GOAL programme will be
awarded with certificate from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Face book.

Outcome:GOAL Programme will provide economically and socially marginalised
young youth / women with the tools and guidance they need to succeed, using the
technologyand help them become entrepreneurs by providing various establishment
linkages for marketing products through Facebook, Watsapp, Twitter etc.
